Biosketch
Dr. Gondra received her medical degree in 1992 from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She then completed a 5-year residency in general surgery, and after residency she focused her medical practice in female colorectal issues. During her time in Argentina she enjoyed teaching anatomy and surgical techniques to nursing and medical students. Dr. Gondra also collaborated in research involving pancreatic cancer and immunotherapy.
In 2000 she moved to the United States and pursued a career in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency in June of 2008 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska. While in training, Dr. Gondra’s research focused on endometriosis. During her last year of residency Dr. Gondra was invited to join the team at Heartland Center for Reproductive Medicine, Omaha, Nebraska. She was invited because of her prior experience in general surgery, female colorectal issues, gynecology, and her love for reproductive medicine.
At Heartland Center for Reproductive Medicine Dr. Gondra was involved in the day-to-day management of infertility patients and had a very busy surgical practice, including but not limited to treatment of severe endometriosis, uterine fibroids, Mullerian anomalies, and Asherman’s syndrome. During this time she was also involved in resident training in infertility and gynecology, as an honorary faculty at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Then, after three very productive years, she decided to return to Arizona where she first lived when newly arrived to the United States. She accepted a position at Troché Fertility Centers where she plans to continue helping patients with reproductive issues.
Dr. Gondra enjoys traveling, biking, hiking, skiing, kayaking, and spending time with her family.
